"Yes, Oh Yas!" May Product Reviews!

I recently signed up for another beauty subscription service to try out and wanted to share my products and what I think of them. I had been subscribed to IPSY for a year but decided not to renew my subscription. I was contacted by this other subscription service called “Yes, Oh Yas!” to try them out. I decided to go ahead with it because I was curious to see what sort of products they send out. With “Yes, Oh Yas!” you do pay a little more money and don’t get a cute bag, compared to IPSY, however, it’s less than $20/month and the products you get are full sized and worth a combined total of at least $75. It sounded like a pretty good deal to me and just a few weeks ago I received my first products, so to learn more about them then keep on reading…

April Ipsy Glam Bag: Luna by Luna, Trust Fund Beauty, Royal and Langnickel and More!

The time has come for my last Ipsy Glam Bag Review. My year subscription was ending and I decided not to renew it because I have a lot going on right now. I would definitely sign up for it in the future again though. This bag was the perfect bag to be my last. The design was beautiful and the products felt like they were exactly what I have been waiting for…

March Ipsy Glam Bag: Dirty Little Secret, Skone, Glossier and More!

The time has come for another Ipsy Glam Bag review. I was pretty excited when I saw what I was receiving in my bag. One brand I am pretty familiar with, three I am newly familiar with and the last I’ve never tried at all, so overall I felt pretty good about what I was going to receive. They all looked like good, interesting products. Some of these products ended up really shocking me…in good and bad ways…

Review: OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Eye Crème and HERBIVORE Rose Hibiscus Face Mist

A little while ago I made a purchase from Sephora online and was able to receive a few samples. The two products I received were an eye cream and a face mist. The eye cream was the OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Eye Crème and the face mist was the HERBIVORE Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist. I hadn’t tried either before so I was excited to try them out and see if they were any good or not. I was especially excited about the eye cream because I have pretty dark under eye circles and was curious if it would truly help to brighten that area up. To find out how well these products worked just keep on reading…

Review: Tarte Mascara and Rainforest of the Sea Products!

Recently I decided to cash in my Sephora VIB points for some Tarte samples. I’ve tried some products from Tarte and really like them, but I hadn’t tried any of the Tarte products in today’s post before. Most of the items are from their Rainforest of the Sea Collection, while one item is just one that people seem to really like so I was excited to try these products out. To read my thoughts on these products just keep on reading…

February Ipsy Glam Bag: It Cosmetis, Mellow, Luxie and More!

Another month has come and gone so time for another Ipsy Glam Bag review. I was super excited (but when am I not) for this bag. There are some brands I was familiar with and some I wasn’t. One item I had wanted to try for a long time but just hadn’t yet so I was super excited to see it in my bag. Overall I just had a really good feeling about the items I was receiving. However, not all of them lived up to my enthusiasm to try them out…

Face Halo Review!

For a long time now I have been using makeup remover wipes to remove my makeup at the end the day before cleansing my skin. I’ve tried quite a few and the one that I liked the most was the Equate Exfoliating Wet Cleansing Towelettes. I loved many aspects of these towelettes but decided it was time to try something new. I have heard of makeup remover microfiber towels but never felt the need to try them before. That is, until I heard about Face Halo from Youtuber Chloe Morello. What drew me to these microfiber pads instead of the others was its size. Therefore, I decided to try it out to see how it compares to the wet towelettes I was so used to using and even another microfiber towel I managed to get my hands on.

Sephora Bite Beauty Birthday Gift Review

Every year I get excited about the birthday gift that Sephora offers to those signed up with their rewards card. Sephora usually offers two different gifts that you can choose from, however, this year I noticed a third gift you could choose from as well. This year they offered one gift from GLAMGLOW, one from Bite Beauty and then one from Bumble and Bumble. I was very tempted to pick the GLAMGLOW one because I love the mask that comes in the gift and wanted to try the second product as well. However, I decided to go with the Bite Beauty gift instead because, well, I wasn’t interested in the hair products, and I haven’t really tried much from the Bite Beauty and was curious about how well the makeup really is. Keep reading to find out my thoughts on this gift and see if it’s one you will want to choose…

Maybelline Fit Me Powder Review

For a few months now I’ve been trying to find a new setting powder. I’ve tried some affordable powders and some that are not as affordable. While some of them weren’t terrible I still wasn’t completely happy for one reason or another. I decided to give this Maybelline Fit Me powder a try since I’ve heard and read a lot of great reviews. I like that this powder is affordable and you get a decent amount as well, but I knew that didn’t mean it would necessarily be good. However, I did end up being pleasantly surprised…

BioRepublic Sheet Mask Review: Aloe Rescue and Pomegranate Crush

Last week I reviewed my January Ipsy glam bag (click HERE) and in my bag I received two sheet masks from the brand BioRepublic Skincare. I decided to do a separate post reviewing the two masks I received which were the Pomegranate Crush Illuminating Sheet Mask and the Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Sheet Mask. I have never tried these masks before and I’m always excited to try new products. I’m starting to feel like a lot of sheet masks seem to perform the same way but there are a few that stand out amongst the rest. To find out if these masks are ones that stand out or not, just keep on reading…
